Morning: Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi Tunnels

In the morning, your guide picks you up from your hotel and departs for Cu Chi, approximately 60 km from Ho Chi Minh City. Along the way, enjoy views of the peaceful countryside, with rice fields, rivers, ducks, and water buffalo, a sharp contrast to its wartime past.

Upon arrival, visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, now considered a heroic historical site. Begin with a short documentary introducing the history and construction of the tunnels. Explore sections of the underground network, which once included living quarters, kitchens, storage facilities, hospitals, armories, and command centers. Learn how air filtration systems helped soldiers survive heavy carpet bombings.

Visitors will also see remnants and evidence of the fierce battles that once took place here. For those interested, there is an optional chance to experience firing an AK-47 at the shooting range (extra cost).

Noon: Return to Ho Chi Minh City

At around noon, transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City.
