DAY 1: ARRIVAL SIEM REAP – BAKHENG HILL SUNSET (D)
Upon arrival at Siem Reap airport, you are warmly welcomed by our friendly tour guide and then
transfer to hotel for check in & refresh. 04.00 pm: pick up again & visit to Bakheng Temple and enjoy a spectacular sunset view from Bakheng Hills. (Sight will be closed after 5:00pm) Welcome dinner with Apsara Dance Show at local restaurant. Accommodation at hotel.
DAY 2: SIEM REAP ANGKOR TOUR – TA PROHM – ANGKOR THOM – ANGKOR WAT (B/L)
After enjoying your breakfast at hotel, this morning start your visit to the jungle covered temple of Ta
Prohm is an incredible sight. There are enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers which embrace
themselves in the stone foundations of the structure giving the impression of man's creation being
reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature.
Afternoon, out to visit the antique capital of Angkor Thom (12 century): the South Gate with its huge
statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk. Continue visit to the Bayon Temple, unique for its 54
towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure,
the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. Continue visiting the famous temple: Angkor
Wat. Angkor Wat is a World Heritage Site since 1992, famous for its beauty and splendor. Angkor Wat
features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls and
narrates stories from Hindu mythology. Accommodation at hotel.
DAY 3: SIEM REAP – ROLOUS – KOMPUNG PLUK BY CYCLING DISTANCE 46KM (B/L/)
Today we leave the crowds behind and bike towards the small village of Roulous, home to some of the
oldest temples of the Angkor Complex. This beautiful 15km ride leads through rural Cambodia and offers
plenty of opportunities to once more interact to the local people. Upon reaching at Roulous we explore
the three main temples Lolei, Preah Ko and Bakong. After discovering the fabulous temple ruins we
continue our bicycle ride to the floating village of Kompong Phhluk. The submerged forest makes this
tranquil place unique and is a treat for visitors. We enjoy a boat tour around the village, between the
trees breaking through the water surface and soak in the culture of living life on the water. You will be
driven back by car to Siem Reap.
DAY 4: TRANSFER TO HOMESTAY (L/D)
After breakfast at hotel, you will be transferred to the village, take about 20km drive past green rice
fields, and picturesque small villages. When you arrive at the village, your guide will introduce you to the
local family, and then you can explore around the village. A welcome lunch with the family will be
served. After lunch break with a short nap, ride in an oxcart to the rice fields where you will have your
first time experience in labor work of the Cambodian farmer in the field. After a day in the fields, you
will be returning home on the oxcart and have a shower in a Cambodian farmer style. In the evening you
will have dinner with local family.
At night just relax and chat with the family to exchange your life experience with the local, and may
choose to teach English to the children if you like. You will be expecting a lot of visitors from
neighborhood who will come to talk to you (or may be just look at you due to language barrier) and
sharing their experience. Overnight at home stay with the hosted family.
DAY 5: SIEM REAP SIHANOUK VILLE (B)
Say good bye to the host family, and transfer to Siem Airport for catching a short flight to Sihanouk Ville,
one of the member of the Most Beautiful Bays in the World Club.
Upon arrival, pick up by our driver and transfer to your comfort choice of accommodation for check in
and relax for the day.
DAY 6: SIHANOUK VILLE FREE (B)
Free at your own leisure to explore beaches activities at the surrounding islands, included snorkeling,
diving, fishing, trekking on the islands. Check with your hotel for more information if you are interested.
DAY 7: SIHANOUK VILLE FREE (B)
Free at your own leisure to explore beaches & surroundings.
DAY 8: DEPARTURE – PHNOM PENH (B)
After early breakfast, we leave the Sihanouk Ville by 7:00am (time can be adjusted based on your actual
departure flight) for a transfer on private car (no guide) to Phnom Penh Airport for your departure flight
to next destination. Total distant 226 Km with approximate 4 hours’ drive.
